When scrapbooking nature photos, I often find
simplicity is the way to go. For example, these photos of crabs
at the beach hold so many details and beauty that I didn't want
anything to detract from them. In situations like this, a
simple, balanced approach is what is needed. Have a go at a page
like this. If the first thing you see when you look at it is the
photo, then you know you have succeeded!
|
|
Cut a piece of plaid paper measuring
approximately 17cm by 21cm. Adhere it to your background at an
angle and towards the top left corner, as shown in the layout
above. Arrange 2 4x6 on top of it, as shown. Make sure your
photos follow the same angle your paper does.
|
|
Adhere
a 3x4 photo in the bottom right corner of your page so that it
overlaps the second of your 4x6 photos. |
|
Place the 'Seashore Memories' sticker along
the left edge of your patterned paper, as shown in the layout
above. |
|
Select five rectangular stickers and arrange
them down the right edge of your page above your small photo. |
|
Cut the letters for your title from blue
cardstock. To create the sand effect, ink the edges with a light
brown ink. Also, lightly dab the whole letter for a dotted
effect. When dry, adhere in the bottom left corner of your page. |
