Paper collections make it easy to co-ordinate
patterned papers for your layouts but sometimes its fun to make
up your own combinations. This layout shows how to combine
various un-related elements into an effective page. |
|
Use your Karen Foster Icy Blue Crackle paper
for your background. Cut a piece of Ecru Brocade paper measuring
approximately 25cm by 16cm and mat with Gold paper. Centre in
your page about 8cm from the bottom, but don't stick down yet. |
|
Cut a piece of Me and My Big Ideas Green
Stripe paper measuring approximately 13cm by 6cm. Tuck behind
the bottom left corner of your Ecru Brocade mat and adhere. You
can now adhere your Ecru Brocade mat too. Cut a second piece of
Green Stripe paper measuring approximately 11.5cm by 14cm adhere
towards the top right corner of your page, as shown in the
layout above. |
|
Mat your two main photos with blue cardstock
and a smaller third photo with green cardstock. Cut a journaling
box from green cardstock and add journaling. Cut two small
swirls from the Ecru Brocade paper. Tuck one behind the top
right corner of your first photo and the other behind the top
right corner of your second photo. Arrange your photos and
journaling box as shown in the layout above and adhere. |
|
Finish off your page by placing Creative
Imaginations Ocean Dreams Epoxy stickers around your page,
as shown above. When positioning them, try to maintain the
balance of your layout. Finally, use brown ink to stamp a shell
on Gold paper. Cut out and position above your small photo. |
