Mini albums are a lot of fun to make and are
great gifts for the special people in your life. This tag accordion
album is also very quick to construct and can be adapted to suit
any theme or occasion. A fabulous project you can finish in an
hour or two!
|
|
Cut two pieces of pink cardstock measuring
5.5 inches by 12 inches. Fold every 3 inches of both pieces to
create an accordion effect. Overlap the ends and glue together
to create one seven section accordion album. |
|
Fold up the book and trim the top two corners
to create a tag shape. |
|
Cut seven pieces of patterned paper measuring
2.75 by 5.25 inches. Trim the tops to create a tag shape. Ink
the edges of each one with pink ink and then very lightly with
silver ink. When dry, adhere one piece to each of the seven
sections of your album. |
|
Cut your photo mats from purple Bazzil
cardstock. The size is up to you. Most of mine are 2.25 by 3.25
inches, but some are smaller to allow for larger embellishments.
Lightly ink the edges with pink ink. Once dry, adhere one photo
mat to each section of your album. |
|
|
Decorate your album with stickers and
any other embellishments that suit. You may like to use
a matted sticker on the front page or you may prefer to
feature your favourite photo here. Once you are done,
fold your album up and tie with ribbon. You know have a
fabulous mini album! |
