Chris shows us how to create a gorgeous layout using several techniques including paper tearing and using mini envelopes for hidden journaling on your pages. 

To recreate this layout, you will need Green, Pastel Green and Purple textured cardstock, Large Ferns patterned paper, NRN Designs Tapestry patterned paper, Pale Purple and Light Purple Washed papers, Mini Envelopes template, Circle punch, Mounting tape, Brads, Eyelets, Metallic rub-on�s colour kit #3, Spiral clips to suit, a small amount of White Thread, Sonnets Alphadots Kiwi Embossed stickers and Suzy's Zoo Suzy in Garden stickers.

Use the green cardstock as your background. Trim the NRN Designs Tapestry paper to size (approx 28cm x 28cms) and centre on your background, leaving a border of 1cm all round. Adhere. Tear a large corner piece of the pale purple paper and adhere to the left of the tapestry paper as shown in the layout. Attach brads to the corners.

Mat your photo on purple cardstock leaving a border of 8mm, mat onto the light purple paper leaving a border of 5mm, and then mat on to the large fern paper leaving a 5mm border. Attach to your page as shown in the layout.  Punch 5 circles from the pastel green cardstock. Use the Sonnets Alphadots Kiwi Embossed stickers to create the title �girls� and adhere with mounting tape to the bottom left of your photo.

To create your Suzy's Zoo accent, place the flower frame from the Suzy's Zoo Suzy in Garden stickers onto the purple cardstock and leaving a border of 5mm, cut to size. Next, mat onto the light purple paper again leaving a 5mm border all round.

Place the Suzy sticker onto light purple paper and keeping with the shape, tear around the edges leaving a small border all the way round. Use mounting tape to position Suzy in the middle of your flower frame mat, as shown in the layout. Attach your accent to your page as shown in the layout.

Mat the �Days with you are so special� sticker with light purple paper, then pastel green cardstock and then the large fern patterned paper. Attach brads to each corner of mat. Adhere it to your layout above the Suzy in Garden matted frame, with mounting tape.

Next, using the mini envelope template and pale green cardstock, create three small envelopes which will be used to hold journaling card tags.

To make journaling card tags cut paper or cardstock of your choice to size 6� x 3�cms (perfect size for the envelopes that I have created). Once finished, place card tags inside envelopes and attach to your page as shown on the layout. Punch out three circles from light purple paper and set eyelets in each. Thread white thread through each and then thread onto each spiral clip. To finish off your page, attach spiral clip to the tips of each envelope and rub a little of the iris metallic rub-on�s on the mini envelopes.
