Simple sticker shapes like flowers, hearts
and paisley are great for creating unique frames and accents
around your photos. This layout demonstrates one way you can
easily incorporate them into your page to highlight your photo
and give your layout a sense that everything flows together. |
|
Use the blue Bazzil cardstock for the
background. Cut a piece of In
Stitches Twiggy Paper measuring approximately 7.8cm by 21cm.
Ink the edges with pink ink and adhere to your background
approximately 1.2cm from the top and 7.8cm from the left edge.
|
|
Cut a piece of In
Stitches Delight Paper measuring approximately 8cm by
15cm. Ink the edges with pink ink and adhere to your background
approximately 5cm from the top and 1cm from the left edge so
that it overlaps the Twiggy paper. |
|
Cut a second piece of In
Stitches Delight
Paper measuring approximately 12cm
by 8cm. Ink the edges with pink ink and adhere to your
background approximately 2cm from the top and 5.5cm from the
right edge so that it overlaps the Twiggy paper. |
|
Adhere your photo on top of the layered
papers approximately 3.5cm from the top and 5cm from the left
edge. Arrange four stickers (two hearts, one paisley and one
small flower) around the top left corner of the photo, as shown
in the layout above. Use a pink gel pen to doodle a dotted edge
around the stickers and add a few swirls, as shown in the layout
above. |
|
Cut two corners from In
Stitches Twiggy Paper and ink the edges with pink ink.
Adhere one to the top left corner of your page and the other to
the top right corner of your photo. |
|
Layer a collection of paisley stickers around
the bottom right corner of your photo, as shown in the layout
above. Play around with your arrangement before finally sticking
them down. You may like to mount them on white cardstock as
well, to give the colours added brightness. |
|
Cut the first letter of your title from In
Stitches Twiggy Paper (the letter on the page above is
approximately 8cm tall). Ink the edges with pink ink
Adhere to the bottom left corner of your page. Finish off your
title with yellow alphabet stickers. |
|
Finally, use the remainder of your stickers and
your pink gel pen to doodle between the bottom right corner of
your photo and the bottom right corner of your page. I have used
a combination of dots and swirls, but you can use whatever you
like. Just try to keep the sense of flow created by your paisley
stickers. |
