I just love working with circles. The correct
use of circles can add fluidity to a page while
still allowing it to be balanced. On this layout
I have used a single large circle to tie the
different elements of my page together and add
colour without detracting from my photos.
|
|
This layout was created using
Colorbok Tangy Tangerine Stripe paper, Beary
Patch Grape Dot paper, Orange plaid paper, purple
ink, black alphabet stickers and miscellaneous
small Sandylion Disney stickers.
|
|
Use the
Colorbok Tangy Tangerine Stripe paper
(with the stripes going horizontally)
as your background.
|
|
Cut out
a large circle from the Beary Patch Grape
Dot paper (I recommend tracing a dinner plate).
Ink the edges with purple ink. Adhere towards
the top right corner of your page, as shown
in the layout above.
|
|
Arrange four 3x4 photos next
to each other across the bottom of your page
approximately 1cm above the bottom edge of your
page.
|
|
Cut two
strips of orange plaid paper, each slightly
wider than 1cm. Adhere one across the bottom
edge of the page so that it slightly overlaps
your photos. Adhere the other along the top
edge of your photos so that it slightly overlaps
them.
|
|
Mat
a 5x7 photo with orange plaid paper and adhere
above the smaller photos towards the top of
the page, as shown in the layout above.
|
|
Journal on a piece of orange
plaid paper. Cut your journaling into strips
so you have one strip for each line of journaling.
Ink the edges with purple ink. Adhere to the
left of your large photo. For interest, do not
line up the edges. Instead, make them a little
more haphazard, like those shown in the layout
above.
|
|
Use black alphabet stickers
to add your title above your journaling.
|
|
Finally, use small miscellaneous stickers
in a few strategic positions to add interest
to your page.
