It's no secret that I lead a busy life. I
love to make cards for the special people in my life but often
find myself scrambling the night before to put something
together. Is this you too? I have discovered that stylish cards
don't have to be difficult or time-consuming. All you need is a
little inspiration. Here is a card to get you started. It takes
all of five minutes to assemble and yet creates a great gift for
someone special. Have a go! |
|
Cut a triangle of Chatterbox
Sun Olive Beach Dot paper, making sure the height of the
triangle is taller than the height of the card. Place it in
front of you with the straight edge at the top and a point at
the bottom (so it looks like an ice-cream cone). Cut the bottom
off the triangle and cut a wedge out of the top to create a
shape resembling a heart (as shown in the card above. Ink the
edges with brown ink and adhere to the right side of the card,
as shown above. Trim away any edges overlapping the edges of the
card. |
|
Cut a rectangle from the underside of Chatterbox
Loft Soft Flowering Vine paper. Stamp (or write) 'Happy
Birthday' in the centre of the rectangle. Ink the edges with
brown ink. Adhere around the middle of your card, as shown in
the card above. |
