November is a great time to sit down and make
cards for Christmas. Why not give this sweet card a try. |
|
To create this card you will need Aspen Green
Bazzil cardstock or ready made card, Patchwork CranApple Red
Burlap paper, Paper Garden Grass Green Plaid paper, alphabet
stamps, silver ink, silver ribbon or cord and Suzy's Zoo
Christmas Reindeer Stickers. |
|
Begin by making your card. I used a
ready-made Bazzil card, but you can also cut your own from Aspen
Bazzil cardstock. Next, cut a strip of red burlap paper. It
should be the width of your card and 5-6cm tall. Tear the edges.
Make sure you tear towards you to give the white edges. When you
are done, adhere it to your card. |
|
Cut a rectangle of green plaid paper and
stick your reindeer to it. Glue to your card. To make this
rectangle look like a gift, add a ribbon or bow to the top. I
used silver zen cord, but ribbon or thin wire would work just as
well. To adhere it, I stitched it to the card, but you can also
use a strong adhesive. |
|
Finally, use your alphabet stamps and silver
ink to stamp a title on your red paper. I used 'Merry Christmas'
as my title but other phrases such as 'Happy Holidays' and
'Seasons Greetings' are just as appropriate. |
