Creating your own borders can be a lot of fun
and can be great for setting the tone of your layout. If you are
looking for something a little light-hearted, trying creating a sequential event border
like the one shown here. |
|
This layout uses Sandylion Daisies paper for
the background, Grass Green Stripe paper, yellow cardstock and Suzy's Zoo Spring Chicks
stickers. |
|
To create this border, mat a strip of grass green
stripe paper on yellow cardstock and
placed a thin strip of yellow cardstock across the
middle. Adhere it to the bottom of your page. |
|
I then mounted all my stickers on cardstock
and cut them out. This step is optional, but will give a little
added depth to your page. Arrange your stickers along the border
to create a sequence. For fun, I also used pop-dots to attach the first
chicken, creating a three-dimensional effect. Now it
almost looks like he is jumping out of the page! |
|
This border is very simple to create but a
lot of fun. Give it a try! If you like, you could also replace
the stickers with small photos to portray an event. |
